Jason Garcia, a senior at McAllen High, has been accepted to perform in a select Drum Corp. and will perform all over the East Coast this summer. He was selected out of thousands of students who auditioned nationwide to be a part of the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps. – a competitive drum and bugle corps. that competes in the World Class Division.
This will be the second straight summer Garcia has performed in a competitive drum and bugle corps. Last year, he performed with Genesis which is based out of Austin.
Jason has been involved in McAllen High Marching Band, Jazz Band and an indoor marching group called Paragon. As a dual enrollment student, he has also performed with the South Texas College drumline. He plans to pursue music at Texas A&M Commerce this fall.
