Twin brothers Gabriel (left) and Michael Banda, choir singers from Rowe High School, were named to the 2024 All-State choir. They are two of 16 students from McAllen ISD to earn All-State in music (band, choir, orchestra or mariachi). McAllen ISD has had at least four students earn All-State in music each year since 1980. In fact, McAllen ISD has been named a national Best Community for Music Education for 11 consecutive years.
