Debbie Crane Aliseda is a lifelong resident of McAllen, Texas, with a deep-rooted connection to the community. She completed her education within the McAllen ISD school system, attending Ben Milam Elementary, Abraham Lincoln Junior High, and McAllen High School. She further pursued her studies at the University of Texas in Austin.
Throughout her career, Debbie had several businesses, including owning and managing three clothing stores in McAllen, Weslaco, and Brownsville, which contributed to the local economy. While currently in a semi-retired phase, she remains actively engaged handling the accounting and bookkeeping for the law firm of Crane and Diez. Moreover, she enthusiastically volunteers her time to various community initiatives.
Debbie's strong familial ties are evident in her relationship with her husband, Judge Ernie Aliseda, and their five children. Cristina is a personal trainer in Houston. Nico Crane proudly serves as a Detective in the McAllen Police Department and is married to Sarah Ponce Crane who is an elementary school teacher in MISD. Allie Crane has followed her passion for education and works as a Special Education Director in Houston. Sofia is pursuing her dream of becoming a lawyer, currently attending South Texas College of Law. Their youngest, Natali is a high school student in MISD. Recently, Debbie has joyfully embraced the role of a proud grandmother to Camila Crane. Emphasizing her commitment to education, all of Debbie's children have attended or are currently enrolled in McAllen Independent School District, reflecting her belief in the importance of supporting local educational institutions. Debbie is the daughter of Baudelia & Robert Crane and sibling of the late Commissioner Scott Crane, Judge Randy Crane and Audrie Crane.
