Hello Warrior Family! Our counseling program here at Wilson Elementary is second to none due to our Trauma-Focused guidance curriculum and our Emotional Intelligence Framework. We provide school-wide services as a preventative measure to avoid reactive measures. Students at Wilson Elementary have a gratitude journal in which they self-reflect and process emotions during the morning announcements as part of our school wide SSMES development. We also provide SSMES and Zones of Regulation small groups as an ongoing support throughout the school year. In addition, our little Warriors know that they can contact their school counselors by scanning the QR code self-referral located in their classrooms. Our hearts are happy knowing that our Warriors feel loved, supported, and most importantly, heard.
