McAllen Independent School District - Excellence in Education

Officials United Way of South Texas presented McAllen ISD with the Golden Apple Award at the School Board meeting held August 9, 2021.  The annual award goes to the school district which makes the highest donations from its staff. This was the third straight year for McAllen ISD to earn this accolade. In fact, McAllen ISD has been a Top Five supporter for United Way of South Texas every year for approximately 20 years.
