McAllen ISD Superintendent is featured on the cover of a state education journal.
McAllen ISD Superintendent, Dr. J.A. Gonzalez, is featured on the cover of the November/December issue of Texas School Business magazine. The cover story focuses on him being nominated to represent Texas in the National Superintendent of the Year running.
On October 1, Dr. Gonzalez was named Texas Superintendent of the Year by
the Texas Association of School Boards. He is the first person from
McAllen ISD to win this state award. He was named Regional
Superintendent of the Year in June.
